How To Play Texas Hold’em- Rules

Texas Hold’Em rules are not that complicated. The first two players sitting on the left side of the dealer will need to place a bet and they call those “Blind Bets”.  When the bets are in place, the dealer will now deal two cards to each player facing down. Those cards are called pocket cards and nobody knows what cards everyone else has. The next move is on the player sitting on the left with the big blind. He/she can either call the bet, raise it, or can also fold.  Otherwise, betting continues going clockwise. When everyone places all their bets, the next three cards are dealt facing up at the center of the table, which is called ” The Flop”. These cards are called the “community cards” and it means that everyone playing can use those cards as a part of their combination on their pocket cards to create the best hand to win on the pot. Then the betting begins, again it starts from the left, and you are given the choice to either check or bet. When all players place their bet, the next step is for the dealer to deal the fourth card and that is the “Turn”. When everyone places their bets, the next step is for the dealer to draw the last card which is called the “River”. The final round of betting will now start. Whoever the remaining players are, will now have to place another final bet. Each player will now have the option of either using all the final cards drawn on the table and combine their two pocket cards to create the best hand that they can possibly create. Whoever gets the best hand wins the game and will get to keep all the chips that were raised on the table. If there are players that have the same category of winning cards, then they will need to divide the total pot on the table.
